Product Description

Here we have a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Fruit Knife from the 1800s. It would be ideal for slicing apples or other fruits. It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for a birthday or anniversary.

It was made by Edmund Bell and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1886.

The blade is made of Sterling Silver and feature the maker’s mark and Hallmarks on one side. The handle is made of smooth Mother of Pearl. The back of the handle has a pretty pattern to it. The blade folds into the handle and protrudes a bit as can be seen in the photos.

The blade is shiny with a little tarnish and light scratches. The Pearl handle is in very good condition.

It’s a larger size knife. It measures 14.2cm in length when the blade is open (just over 5 1/2 inches). When the blade is closed it measures 8.5cm in length (nearly 3 3/8 inches).
