Shipping policy

Delivery

Orders are dispatched within one working day following purchase.

United Kingdom
Orders under £60 are sent by Standard (Royal Mail Tracked 48) or Express (Royal Mail Tracked 24). The Express service usually arrives the next day, although this isn't guaranteed. Orders placed before 12pm will be dispatched the same day.

All UK orders over £60 qualify for free Standard delivery. There is an option to upgrade to Express if you need it quicker.

When items are dispatched you will be sent a tracking number so you can track your delivery on the Royal Mail website.

Rest of World
All orders are sent out by Royal Mail International Tracked or by Teleship (who use mail carriers for the last mile in the US and EU). When the order is dispatched you'll be provided with a reference so you can track your order, and the shipping cost will appear at checkout when you enter your address.

EU - PLEASE NOTE European Union GPSR regulations mean we can only send antique items (made in 1926 or before) to an EU address.

Delivery Estimates
Delivery estimates are given when you order at checkout. We dispatch either the same day or the next working day depending on the time the order is placed, and at dispatch you are sent a tracking reference so you can monitor the delivery progress.

At busy times such as Christmas items can take longer to be delivered. Items may also be delayed in Customs, and although this doesn't happen often it can occasionally hold up a delivery.

Beeches Vintage is not responsible for delays in delivery once an order is dispatched.

Customs and Duty Taxes
Customs and Duty taxes and VAT are collected at checkout for the US and EU. This makes the buying process as simple as possible for our customers as we collect the taxes at purchase, avoiding delays at Customs and ensuring
you aren't charged taxes at delivery. For EU customers the €3 duty fee introduced on 1st July 2026 is also applied at checkout.

Please note we don't collect US sales tax and this may be still applied on delivery.

In all other countries buyers are responsible for any VAT, customs, import duties or sales taxes (if your country or state applies them) as these are not collected at checkout.

Orders From Germany (Lucid Packaging Register)

Beeches Vintage is registered on the Lucid Packaging Register for Germany for recycling the shipping materials we use (registration no DE5534485041691) Our dual system partner is Activate by Reclay Systems GmbH.

Returns

At Beeches Vintage we sell vintage and antique items that have been treasured by someone else in the past.

Although all the items in our shop are in either good or excellent vintage condition they will have some signs of age. I try to list these details in the description so please do take note of this when looking.

I’m more than happy to answer questions so if you’re not sure of anything please get in touch.

Returns
We recognise that when buying online very occasionally an item may not live up to what a buyer has pictured in their mind what it might to look like. Consequently we are happy to take returns.

If you wish to return an item please contact me. Items need to be sent back within 31 days of delivery.

Conditions of Return
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. Please wrap carefully when returning an item as if it is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We don't charge a restocking fee. However, for international returns please mark clearly on Customs Forms that the items are Returned Goods. Failure to do this means that we are charged a Customs fee and Import Taxes by the courier company. Unfortunately we will need to pass on the Customs fee to the buyer if the forms don't state clearly that the items are being returned.
