Beeches Vintage
This is a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Fruit Knife from the 1920s. It’s a lovely collector’s item and would be great for cutting pieces of pears, apples or other fruit.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
The fruit knife has a Sterling Silver blade and a beautiful Mother of Pearl handle. The handle features lovely etched detailing of a butterfly and leaves. It has a blank shield cartouche on one side.
It was made by Charles William Fletcher and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1920. The Hallmarks and maker’s mark are on one side of the blade.
It’s in good condition with a little tarnish on the blade. It folds neatly back into the handle.
It measures 10.5cm in length when fully open (4 1/8 inches) and 6.5cm when closed (just over 2 1/2 inches).
