Antique Folding Silver Fruit Knife, 1914 Hallmark

Here we have a lovely Antique Silver Fruit Knife, perfect for slicing apples or other fruit. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for an Anniversary or Birthday.

It was made by Francis Howard and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1914. It has the Makers Mark and Hallmarks on one side of the blade.

The blade is made of Sterling Silver and the handle is beautifully smooth Mother of Pearl. It has a blank rectangular cartouche on one side. 

The blade has a bit of tarnish and a lot of light scratches. The tip is very slightly bent but wouldnt affect its use. The blade folds into the handle with the tip of the blade very slightly protruding.

Its a smaller fruit knife, measuring 9.6cm in length when fully open (3 3/4 inches). It measures 5.9cm in length when closed (nearly 2 3/8 inches).
