Here we have a beautiful Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Fruit Knife, perfect for slicing apples or other fruit. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for an Anniversary or Birthday.

It was hallmarked in London in 1817. This is quite a special find as folding fruit knives from the Georgian era are fairly uncommon. It has no maker's mark on it.

The blade is made of Sterling Silver and the handle is beautifully smooth Mother of Pearl. It has initials that look like AB or ABK on one side of the blade. It has a silver collar and a lovely design to the back of the handle. The blade is sprung.

It's in good condition. The silver is shiny and the blade snaps neatly back into the handle. There is a very small area of deterioration on one side of the blade and it's very slightly curved at this point. There is one small chip to one side of the handle.

It measures 11.8cm in length when fully open (4 5/8 inches). It measures 6.5cm in length when closed (2 1/2 inches).
