Here we have a lovely Antique Sterling Silver Fruit Knife from the 1910s. It comes in a gift bag and it would make a great present for a Birthday or Anniversary.
It was made by William Needham and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1918.
The blade is made of Sterling Silver and has the maker’s mark and Hallmarks on one side. It folds neatly into the handle. The handle is made of Mother of Pearl and has a blank shield cartouche on one side.
The Silver is shiny with light scratches. The very tip of the blade is slightly bent. The Pearl handle is smooth with no cracks or chips.
It measures 13.5cm in length when fully open (just over 5 1/4 inches). It measures 7.8cm when closed (3 inches).
