Here we have a beautiful Sterling Silver Sauce or Cream Jug from the early 1920s. It comes in a lovely gift bag and would be a great present.
The maker’s mark are worn. The Hallmarks show it was made in Birmingham in 1923.
The jug is made of Sterling Silver and has a pretty pedestal base and elegant handle. The rim has a lovely pattern to the edge which sets it off beautifully.
It’s in good condition with the Silver shiny with a bit of tarnish. There are a couple of very small dents in the front which are only noticeable if you look very closely.
It weighs 104.3g and the height to the middle of the jug measures 10cm (just under 4 inches).
