Antique 1917 Sterling Silver Toast Rack

This is a beautiful Antique Solid Silver Toast Rack from the 1910s. It would be ideal for serving toast or for using as a letter or card rack.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

It was made by William Hutton and Sons and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1917. The makers mark and Hallmarks are on the base of the toast rack.

The rack has five beautiful curved arches and a pretty loop handle at the top. It has four feet and a lovely elegant design to the base.

It's in very good condition. The Silver is shiny with a little tarnish in corners.

It weighs 86g and measures 8.4cm by 5.5cm (3 1/4 inches by 2 1/8 inches). The height to the top of the handle is 10.5cm (4 1/8 inches).
