This is a very pretty Sterling Silver Toast Rack from the 1940s. It would be a lovely way to serve toast for breakfast or use as a letter or card rack in the office.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

It was made by Adie Brothers and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1947.

The rack has five beautifully shaped arches with a pretty handle in the centre. The Hallmarks and maker's mark are on one side. It's in good condition with silver shiny with a bit of tarnish. The middle arch is slightly lopsided but this wouldn’t affect its use.

It weighs 83g. It's a smaller size toast rack, measuring 7.8cm by 6.2cm (3 inches by 2 3/8 inches). The height to the top of the handle is 8.3cm  (3 1/4 inches).
