Product Description

Here we have a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Serving Fork from the last 1800s. It would be perfect to use for serving meats, cheeses or bread.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present for a birthday or wedding anniversary.

It was Hallmarked in Sheffield 1897/8. The Silver collar was made by George Howson of Harrison Brothers and Howson and was Hallmarked in 1897. The fork prongs were made by Issac Ellis & Sons and Hallmarked in 1898.

The Fork has a pretty, ornate design to the prongs and collar. The handle is beautifully smooth Mother of Pearl.

It’s in good condition with the silver shiny. It has a little tarnish in places which helps show the pretty design. The Pearl handle has the odd tiny scratch as expected with a antique item but no cracks or chips.

It measures 18cm in length (just over 7 inches).
