This is a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Butter Knife from the early 1900s. It would look great on a table for serving butter.
It was made by J Sherwood & Sons and is Hallmarked for Birmingham 1904.
It has a flat palette blade and a beautifully elegant handle. There a very pretty leaf pattern to the centre of the handle and at the end. The Hallmarks are on the back of the handle.
Its in good condition with some scratches as expected for its age.
