This is a beautiful Antique Silver Knife and Fork, perfect for using for a picnic or as a collector’s item. They come in a gift bag and would be a great present.

They are a small knife and fork, probably used for travelling and may be campaign cutlery where officers used to take them on military campaigns.

The blade is made of Sterling Silver and was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1849. Both the Knife and fork have AH for Aaron Hadfield as the maker’s mark.

The cutlery has beautifully ornate collars and Mother of Pearl handles with RHC engraved on them.

The Silver is shiny with a very slight curve to the blade. There are a couple of chips to the end of the knife’s Pearl handle and a partial hairline crack in the handle of the fork.

They are a small knife and fork set. The knife measures 14.8cm in length (just over 5 3/4 inches). The fork measures 14.4cm (5 1/4 inches) in length.
