This is a very pretty British Banknote £50 Commemorative Coin. It's a proof and comes with it's Certificate of Authenticity and would be a fantastic collector's item. It is number 07122 of only 09999 made.
It comes in a lovely green gift bag and would be a great present.
It was made by Windsor Mint in 2010 as part of a limited collection.
It is gold plated with the banknote sticker on one side. It depicts the £50 note that was first issued in 1994 to coincide with the Bank of England’s 300th anniversary.
On one side of the coin it has The £50 Banknote, Sir John Houblon, Historical Series E around the edge. On the reverse it has British Banknotes.
Condition
It is in excellent condition. It is in a perspex case and comes in a plastic sleeve which holds the Certificate of Authenticity.
