Here we have a beautiful two handled silver tea strainer from the 1960s. It would be a great present for a tea lover and comes in a gift bag. It would be ideal for using when entertaining or serving loose tea.
The Sterling Silver tea strainer has a very pretty pierced design to the two arms that can either be held or rested on a cup or mug. It has a lovely shiny deep bowl with the maker’s mark and hallmarks on the side.
It was made by Emile Viner and it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1960.
It’s in lovely condition with the silver shiny and a tiny bit of tarnish in the corners.
It weighs 30g and measures 12.3cm in length (just over 4 3/4 inches).
