This is a stunning Sterling Silver Hinged Bracelet from the 1930s. It's a lovely silver bangle for women and comes in a gift bag so it would be a fantastic present.
It was made by NC Reading & Co and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1937. The makers mark and hallmarks are on the inside of the bracelet.
It’s a beautiful bracelet with an elegant Art Nouveau leaf design on the top half and shiny silver on the bottom half. It has a hinge and an easy clasp which locks in place with a slider.
It’s in very good condition. The silver is shiny with a little tarnish which helps show the lovely design.
It weighs 22g and the width of the band is 1.6cm (5/8 inch).The interior measures 5.6cm by 5.2cm (2 1/4 inches by just over 2 inches).
