This is a lovely Sterling Silver Box from the 1960s. It would be ideal for storing small items in such as jewellery, cufflinks or using as a keepsake box.

It has a beautiful engineered design to the lid and shiny Silver sides. The hinge works well and the lid lifts to show a pretty Cedar wood lined interior. It has a movable divider so you can create two sections to the inside.

It was made by H & W Ltd and it was Hallmarked in London in 1963.

It’s in very good condition. The silver is shiny with a bit of tarnish in place, particularly in the design on the lid. There are a few small dents on one side and slight staining in a couple of places inside. It would be a great gift.

It weighs 392g and measures 14cm by 9cm (5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches). The height is 5cm (2 inches).
