This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Bowl made in the early 1920s. It has two handles at the sides and would be perfect to use as a bon bon dish or a sweets or nut bowl. It comes in a gift bag.
This hallmarked silver bowl has a very pretty pierced design with two elegant handles at the sides. It has a shiny base with the maker’s mark and hallmarks on the underside.
It was made by Synyer & Beddoes and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham 1923.
It’s in very good condition with the silver shiny and a few small spots of tarnish which are mainly on the base. There’s a very small dint in the base but this is barely visible.
It weighs 51.5g.
The bowl diameter is 11cm (just over 4 1/4 inches). The width across including the handles is 16.3cm (6 3/8 inches). The depth is approx 3.1cm (1 1/4 inches).
