This is a lovely Antique Silver Salt Spoon from the Edwardian early 1900s. It would be ideal for serving condiments or salt and pepper at the dinner table.
It was made by Charles Horner and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1902.
It would be a lovely present and a small gift bag can be bought separately here to put it in: Beeches Vintage gift bags
The spoon has a pretty wire handle and a ball at the end. It has a round bowl with the maker’s marks and hallmarks in the middle of a lovely round bowl.
The silver is shiny with a little tarnish. The wire handle is slightly curvy in places which adds to the charm.
It weighs 2.4g and it measures 5.7cm in length (2 1/4 inches).
