1920s Art Deco Sterling Silver Cocktail Whisk/Swizzle Stick

This is such a great find! It’s a beautiful vintage 1920s Art Deco Sterling Silver retractable Cocktail Whisk or Swizzle Stick Stirrer, perfect for mixing drinks. It would be a fantastic barware accessory.

It comes in a gift bag and is a very special present.

It’s made of Sterling Silver and has a retractable whisk that be pushed out to mix drinks or the stick can be used as a stirring cocktail stick. It has a beautiful engraved design to the sides and a loop at the end so it can be attached to a chain.

It was made by Deakin and Francis. It was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1927.

It’s in good condition. The central prong has some tarnish near the ball and isn’t entirely straight. The mechanism works well.

It weighs 4g. It measures 13.5cm when fully extended (just over 5 1/4 inches) and 8.5cm when retracted (nearly 3 3/8 inches).
