Vintage 1970s Sterling Silver Handled Cake Knife, Boxed

Here we have a lovely Vintage Sterling Silver Cake Knife from the 1970s. It comes in its original presentation box and would be a great gift.

It would be perfect to use when entertaining or at a wedding or other special occasion.

It was made by Harrison Brothers and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1972. The Hallmarks are on the side of the handle.

The handle is made of Sterling Silver and features a Queens pattern design. The blade is Stainless Steel and has Cake Knife, Sheffield, England engraved on it. One edge is serrated while the top edge of the blade has a pretty design to it.

It's in very good condition. The blade has just a few scratches to it and looks like it has been barely used. The box has some stains to it.

It measures 26.4cm in length (10 3/8 inches).
