This is a lovely coloured small Antique Glass Bottle from the Victorian era. It was used for smelling salts is the 1800s and is a great collectible. It comes in a gift bag and would be ideal as decor, displaying very small flowers in or using as an inkwell.
The bottle is octagon shaped and a teal blue coloured glass. It has a hinged brass lid which lifts on and off.
The glass has chips around the base and the lid has tarnish and is dented in the middle. It has glue around the top where the lid is attached to the glass.
It’s a lovely unusual item with a lot of history and it would be a great present.
It’s a small bottle, measuring 4.9cm in height including the lid (just under 2 inches).
