Here is a beautiful Sterling Silver Napkin Ring Holder from the 1940s. It has Lynda engraved on the front and comes in a gift bag. It would be a great present for an anniversary, birthday or christening.
This classic napkin or serviette ring is made of solid Sterling Silver with the Hallmarks and maker’s mark on the side. It has a very pretty design all the way around the side with a rectangular cartouche with Lynda elaborately engraved at the front.
It was made by Ernest W Haywood and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1946. Ernest Haywood was based in Hylton St, Birmingham.
It’s in very good condition with the silver shiny and a few dots of tarnish.
It’s quite heavy, weighing 27g and measuring 2.6cm in width (1 inch).
