Vintage 1940s Tallent Art Deco Powder Compact

Here we have a 1940s Art Deco Compact Mirror by Tallent. It is beautifully stylish - you can just imagine a lady in the 1940s taking this out of her handbag to use. It comes in a lovely presentation bag and would be a great gift.

The exterior is a beautiful silver coloured design with a pretty Art Deco style edging to the sides. It's lovely and shiny with a few light scratches. The compact lid opens to show a gold interior with a mirror and inner lid. You can see Tallent and Made in England on the edge.

The original powder screen is inside with a gold metal edge to it and a very slight tear to the corner. Although the mirror has a few marks it does provide a clear reflection. The interior has a few marks and scratches but overall the compact is in good condition.

It's a beautiful compact that someone who loves retro and vintage vanity items would love.

It's very well made, weighing over 180g. It measures 9cm by 9.8cm (3.5 by 3.9 inches) with a depth of 1.3cm (0.5 inches).
