Vintage 1940s Leather Card Case

This is a very pretty leather business card case or holder from the 1940s. It would be ideal for storing cards in or notes and mementos.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.

The card wallet has a beautiful soft brown leather exterior and a brass frame. The hinge and clasp work well and it opens to show a light brown material and leather interior. On one side it has lovely embroidery featuring flowers and a frame. Each side has a pocket so cards can be put in them or left in the middle of the case. The brass edge has a beautiful engraved design all the way around it.

Condition

The case is in good condition. The brown leather exterior is a bit worn in places which adds to the vintage look. There’s a small tear and a lighter mark on one side. 

Size

It measures 14cm by 9cm (5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches). The depth is approximately 1cm (3/8 inch).
