This is a beautiful silver candle holder stand from the early 1930s. It’s a short candle holder, perfect for placing on a mantlepiece or dinner table.
The candlestick comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for a birthday, anniversary or housewarming.
It’s made of English Sterling Silver and has a beautiful lined design to it and a lovely elegant neck. It has the maker’s mark and hallmarks on the side. It was made by WI Broadway and Co and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1931.
The silver is shiny with some tarnish in places which adds to the vintage look. It has a number of small dents around the base and the rim at the top.
It’s filled and weighs 86g and measures 6.5cm in height (just over 2 1/2 inches). The diameter of the base measures 6cm (2 3/8 inches).
