Here we have a lovely unique solid silver union badge from the 1920s. This highly collectible pin comes in a gift box and would be a great present for someone who enjoys collecting British treasures.
The badge has WU on the front and features a crown at the top. It was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1929 and made by William Adams. It was most likely one of the last pins made for the Worker’s Union, shortly before they merged with the Transport and General Workers Union.
It has C shape clasp which works well.
Condition
The silver is shiny with light scratches and a little tarnish.
Size
The badge measures 2.4cm by 2.9cm (just under 1 inch by 1 1/8 inches ). It weighs 4g.
