Here we have two lovely vintage silver plated jam spoons, perfect for serving preserves or conserves. They come in a gift bag and would be a fantastic present for a birthday, anniversary or housewarming.
Both spoons are silver plated and were made in the 1900s to 1950s. One has a beautiful mother of pearl handle showing all the colours and textures pearl shell has, with a lovely decorative collar and scallop patterned bowl. It has EPNS stamped on the back of the neck.
The second spoon has a very pretty ornate leaf design to the handle and a lovely pattern to the bowl.
Condition
Both spoons are in good condition. The mother of pearl handle has a very small natural indentation on one side. The silver plate is shiny with light scratches and the odd spot of tarnish.
Size
The mother of Pearl handled spoon measures 13.7 cm in length (5 3/8 inches). The silver plated spoon measures 12.3 cm (4 7/8 inches).
