This is a lovely Antique Silver Plated Spoon from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely spoon to use for serving condiments or jams.

It was made by USA flatware specialist Towle Manufacturing Co. It has their name imprinted on the back of the spoon along with their makers marks. It also has 6 oz and Pat. 1889 imprinted too.

The spoon is Silver Plated and has the Towle’s Benjamin Franklin design to the top of the handle which they produced in the early 1900s. It features a pretty fan pattern.

It’s larger than a teaspoon but smaller than a dessert spoon. It would be perfect for using to serve jams or using to eat puddings as a small dessert spoon.

It has light scratches to it and a bit of tarnish in the pattern on the spoon, particularly to the right hand side of the design. It has a small spot of wear to the Silver Plate on the back of the handle.

It measures 15cm in length (5 7/8 inches).
