Small Art Deco Sterling Silver Salt Spoon

This is a very pretty and unique Sterling Silver Salt Spoon from the 1930s. It would be lovely to use with salt, pepper or other condiments.

The vintage silver spoon was made by AJ Bailey and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1936. The maker’s mark and hallmarks are on the back of the handle.

It features a beautiful and detailed design to the handle and an elaborate Repousse pattern to the bowl. There’s a light gold wash to the top of the spoon that has faded but adds to the beauty and helps to show the pretty design.

It’s in very good condition. It weighs 2.4g and measures 6.3cm in length (2 1/2 inches).

It would be a lovely present and a small gift bag can be bought separately to put it in.
