This is a very pretty vintage Sterling Silver Bottle Coaster, perfect for putting a wine or water bottle in at the dinner table.
The bottle holder has shiny solid Sterling Silver sides with a beautiful bow design all the way around. The inside base is made of varnished wood with a silver middle. The base has felt material to protect the surface it’s placed on. It was made by Broadway & Co ad it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1996.
It’s in very good condition. There are a few spots of tarnish around the sides and in the ribbon pattern.
It’s a smaller width than some coasters but comfortably holds most wine or water bottles. It measures 9cm in diameter (3 1/2 inches). The depth is 4.5cm (1 3/4 inches).
