Oriental Sterling Silver Brooch

This is a very pretty Oriental Sterling Silver brooch. It comes in a gift box and would be a lovely present. It would look great pinned on a top or scarf.

It’s fan shaped with a very pretty pattern around the edge. The 925 Sterling Silver brooch features a Siam Niello design of the story of Mekhala the Goddess of Lightning and Ramasoon the God of Thunder. It was made in the 1970s.

It has a pin and tube clasp so it fastens well. It has Siam Sterling imprinted in the centre of the back.

It comes in a lovely black presentation box and would be a fantastic gift

It’s in good condition with the silver shiny. There are a couple of very tiny scratches to the black niello but these aren’t really visible to the naked eye. The hinge and clasp work well.

It measures 2.3cm in height by 3.5cm wide (nearly 1 inch by nearly 1.5 inches).
