Pair of Small Sterling Silver Spill Vases

This is a lovely pair of small solid silver spill or bud vases from the 1980s. They would be ideal for using with small spring flowers like snowdrops or crocuses.

They come in a gift bag and would be a great unique present.

They are make of Sterling Silver and have a pretty flute design. The maker’s mark is AL and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1988. They have green felt bases to protect surfaces they’re placed on.

The silver is shiny with a little tarnish in places. The rims have a number of dents and are a little wavy which adds to the charm of the vases. This has been taken into account in the pricing.

They are small vases, suitable for holding little flowers. They’re filled and weigh 25g together. The diameter at the base is 2.5cm (1 inch) and the height is 7.5cm (nearly 3 inches).
