This is a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Coffee Spoon from the early 1900s. It was an advertising spoon for “Cakeoma”, a brand who made cake mixes in the early 20th Century. 

This lovely collectable spoon comes in a gift bag and would be a great present, particularly for someone who enjoys baking.

It was made by well known Silversmiths Walker and Hall and it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1912. The maker’s mark and hallmarks are on the back of the handle.

The bowl is coffee spoon sized and the handle has a very pretty line and criss cross design around the edge. At the top of the handle it has “Cakeoma” elaborately engraved.

It’s in very good condition with the silver shiny and a tiny bit of tarnish that helps show the beautiful design. 

It weighs 15.7g and measures 11cm in length (nearly 4 3/8 inches).
