This is a beautifully shaped Silver Plated Dessert Spoon made by Mappin & Webb in the 1940s. It has a lovely art deco design to the handle and would be a great spoon to use to serve jams, condiments or sauces with.
The bowl is oval shaped and the handle is beautifully tapered with a pretty, elegant design. On the back of the handle it has Mappin & Webb and Princes Plate imprinted, along with a date letter which is a little worn.
Condition
The Silver Plate is shiny with some light scratches.
