This is a lovely mid century Sterling Silver Salt Spoon. It’s a smaller size spoon, perfect for serving salt, pepper or mustard.
It was made by William Suckling and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1960. The hallmarks and maker’s marks are on the back of the handle.
It has a pretty Old English design handle that tapers down to an egg shaped small bowl. It’s in good condition with the silver shiny and a little tarnish.
It’s a small salt spoon, measuring 6.7cm in length (2 5/8 inches) and weighing 5g.
It would be a lovely present and a small gift bag can be bought separately here to put it in: Beeches Vintage gift bags
