Large Purple Amethyst Sterling Silver Ring

This is a very striking Purple Amethyst Sterling Silver Ring, perfect to wear for a night out. It comes in a gift box and would be a lovely present.

The ring has PC as the initials for the makers mark. It has 925 stamped in it and London Hallmarks for 1974.

The ring is made of Sterling Silver and has a beautiful elaborate design to the sides. The bezel frame has a pretty etched pattern to it and holds the beautiful, large cloudy Purple Amethyst Stone perfectly. The Amethyst is polished and shaped very well.

The Silver is shiny with some tarnish which helps shows the detailing. There are a couple of natural inclusions within the stone and a minuscule chip to one edge of it. Inside the band it has a join where the ring size has been altered.
