Here we have a very pretty large Sterling Silver Pill Box, perfect for storing a few pills or rings. It comes in a gift bag and it would be a great present.
The pill box is oval with a beautiful detailed silver rose in the centre of the lid. On the front of the pill box it has the maker’s mark and hallmarks.
It was made by Mark Houghton of Hatton Garden, London and it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 2003.
The lid is hinged and lifts to show a lovely silver interior.
Although the pill box is vintage it’s in excellent condition and looks unused.
It’s quite heavy and solid, weighing 21.5g. It measures 4.7cm by 3cm (1 7/8 inches by just under 1 1/4 inches). The depth from the base to the top of the rose is 2.1cm (just over 3/4 inch).
