Here we have a lovely Concorde Silver Picture Frame, perfect for displaying a treasured photo or picture. It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for someone who enjoys Concorde or Aviation Memorabilia.
It was made by Carrs of Sheffield for British Airways. It was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1988. The Hallmarks and makers mark are on the side of the frame.
The frame is made of shiny Sterling Silver with Concorde etched at the bottom of the frame. There are some light scratches and a couple of very small dents to the Silver.
The frame is oval shaped and can be placed on a desktop or hung on a wall. It sits upright when placed on a tabletop.
It has a glass cover and a grey material back. The material is discoloured with age and use and is a little worn in places, but when the picture frame is being used its not noticeable.
It measures 11.2cm by 8.2cm (4 3/8 inches by 3 3/8 inches). The depth is 1.3cm (3/8 inch). The aperture measures 9cm by 6.5cm (just over 3 1/2 inches by just over 2 1/2 inches).
