This is a very pretty small Vintage Solid Silver Pill Box featuring a beautiful polished black onyx gemstone on the lid. It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.
The pill box or pill case is made of 925 silver and has this stamped on the base. It has shiny silver sides and a very pretty design of bows, grapes and a twisted rope surrounding a lovely black onyx cabochon in the centre. The lid lifts off easily and shows a silver interior.
It’s in very good condition with a tiny bit of tarnish around the design. There are a couple of tiny pin prick dents in the base that can only be seen if examining it very closely.
It’s a small pill box, suitable for holding one or two pills. It measures 2.3cm by 2.4cm (7/8 inch by 1 inch). The depth including the onyx gemstone is 1.7cm (5/8 inch).
