This is a lovely Fierce Bad Rabbit figurine from the Beatrix Potter stories. It is a great collectors item and would make a very special gift for a child or Beatrix Potter enthusiast.

It was made by Beswick in 1977. It features a rabbit sitting with his feet out in front of him nibbling a carrot. The level of detail is  amazing, with the ceramic textured for the fur and whiskers painted on beautifully.

On the base it has Beatrix Potters The Fierce Bad Rabbit, F Warne and Co Ltd, copyright 1977 and Beswick, England. It has 16 painted on the base as well.

It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It as a tiny natural hole in the back of one ear which happened when it was made.

It measures 11.8cm in height (4 5/8 inches).
