Antique Victorian Silver Plated Sugar Tongs

This is a lovely pair of Victorian Silver Plated Sugar Tongs. They date from the mid to late 1800s and were made by John Round and Son.
They would be ideal for serving sugar at tea or coffee time or using them as small serving tongs.

They come in a gift bag would be a great present for a housewarming or birthday.

The tongs are in very good condition. The Silver plate is shiny and it has the maker’s marks on the inside. There is the odd spot of tarnish which adds to the authenticity and antique look.

They measure 15.5cm in length (6 1/8 inches).
