Here we have a beautiful large Antique Sterling Silver Condiment or Salt Spoon from the Victorian mid 1800s. It would be perfect for using to serve salt, pepper, mustard or other condiments.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
The spoon has a beautiful long fiddle shaped handle and a very pretty gold washed bowl. It was made by Robert Williams and it was hallmarked in Exeter in 1844. The maker’s mark and hallmarks are on the back of the handle.
It's in good condition with the silver shiny. It has a number scratches inside the bowl and the end of the handle is ever so slightly curved.
It’s a large size condiment spoon, weighing 15g and measuring 12.9cm in length (5 inches).
