This is a beautiful antique spoon from the mid 1700s, perfect for using when serving coffee, tea or for condiments or sugar. It comes in a gift bag and would be a fantastic gift.

It’s made of Sterling Silver and was made by William Watkins who was active as a silversmith in 1761. It has his maker’s mark and the worn hallmarks on the neck of the spoon.

It’s coffee or small teaspoon sized and features a stunning design on the back of the spoon of flowers in a pot. It the top of the handle on the back it has M * M engraved although this is very worn.

The silver is shiny with one part of the lip of the bowl very slightly turned in. It’s in good condition.

It weighs 13g and measures 12.2cm in length (4 3/4 inches).
