This is a very pretty Dutch Delft enamel and Sterling Silver thimble from the 1950s or 60s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for someone who enjoys sewing. It’s a size 8.
It’s made of Sterling Silver. It features a very pretty traditional Dutch Delft blue windmill and boat scene on the enamel that goes all around the sides. It has a dimple design all around the sides and top.
It has 8 for the size and 925 on the side and ZI on the top which is the Dutch hallmark for imported Sterling Silver, which was usually originally made in Germany or Scandinavia.
It’s in very good condition. It weighs 4.6g and measures 2.4cm in height (7/8 inch). The diameter is 1.9cm (3/4 inch) and it’s a size 8.
