This is a beautiful AntIque Victorian Cheroot or Cigarette Holder. It would be great to use for a prop for theatre or TV or as a fashion statement.
This highly collectible item comes in a presentation box and would make a great gift.
It was made by William Vale & Sons and is Hallmarked for Birmingham 1899.
The Sterling Silver holder has a very pretty engraved pattern all around with the Hallmarks on both the top and bottom sections. The mouthpiece is made of beautiful Amber.
The Silver is shiny with a tiny bit of tarnish which helps to show that pattern well. The Amber has some scratches around the mouthpiece and a few tiny chips to it, particularly where it has been joined to the Silver.
It weighs 10.8g and measures 7.9cm in length (3 1/8 inches).
