This is a lovely Antique Victorian Button Hook from the 1800s. It'd be ideal for fasteneing hard to reach buttons or using as a zip puller.
It was originally used for fastening shoe buttons and it’s a great collectors item.
It was made by Rodgers, who were Cutlers to the late Queen Elizabeth II. It features their trademark Star and Maltese Cross next to their name, with England on the reverse side.
It's in good condition. The handle is lovely smooth bone and the hook is made of English carbon steel. There is a bit of tarnish to the steel which all add to the antique look.
