Antique Victorian Button Hook, Bone Handle

This is a lovely Antique Button Hook from the 1800s. It would be a perfect accessory to help fasten buttons or as a collectors item.

The button hook has a bone handle which is beautifully smooth.   You can see the tiny flecks in bone which adds to the detail and character. The hook is made of Carbon Steel. 

Its in good condition. There is a crack in the handle around one of the pins. The steel is mainly shiny with a little tarnish and deterioration in a few places.

It measures 15.8cm in length (6 1/8 inches).
