This is a very pretty antique Sterling Silver Thimble from the early 1900s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for someone who enjoys sewing.
It was made by Henry Griffith and Sons and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1910. The makers mark, hallmarks and size 16 are on the side of the thimble.
It’s made of shiny Sterling Silver with a dimple design all around and a pretty pattern to the raised rim. It’s in very good condition.
It weighs 2.8g and measures 2.1cm in height (7/8 inch). The diameter is 1.5cm (5/8 inch) and it’s size 16.
