Antique 1924 Sterling Silver Hairbrush

Here we have a beautiful Antique Solid Silver Hairbrush with a faux tortoiseshell back. It would be a very pretty addition to a dressing table and would be a great gift.

It has a faux tortoiseshell celluloid back and a shiny pretty Sterling Silver rim all around the edge. The hairbrush bristles are attached to a wooden base. 

The maker’s mark has been over stamped so it’s difficult to read. It was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1924.

Condition

The silver is shiny with a little tarnish and a few very small dents. The hairbrush has been used but is clean.

Size

It measures 23.3cm in length (9 1/8 inches) and the width is 7.5cm (3 inches).
