This is a beautiful small Antique Sterling Silver Tray or Dish from the Victorian late 1800s. It would be ideal for using for decor or storing small items in such as jewellery.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
The tray is made of Sterling Silver and has a beautiful Repousse design. It has a very pretty pattern with the hallmarks and maker’s mark hidden within the dish. It was made by Henry Matthews and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1894.
It’s in good condition. The silver is shiny with some tarnish which helps to show the design and on the underside of the tray.
It’s a small or miniature tray measuring 7.5cm by 5.4cm (3 inches by just over 2 1/8 inches). It weighs 12.5g.
