Vintage Silver Plated Bread Fork

This is a beautiful Vintage Silver Plated Fork, ideal for serving bread, meat or cheese. It dates from the 1920s or early 1930s.

It comes in a lovely cotton gift bag and it would make a great present.

The serving fork is silver plated and has a very pretty design of three elegantly shaped prongs and a lovely engraved pattern to the head and neck. The lovely collar fastens it to a lovely smooth lined plastic handle.

Condition

The silver plate is shiny. There is wear to the plate on the collar where the brass shows underneath, and a tiny bit of wear the very tip of one of the prongs. There’s one tiny dot of green pen on the side of the plastic handle.

It measures 19.5cm in length (just over 7 5/8 inches).
