Antique Horse Brass on Strap

Here we have a beautiful Antique Horse Brass from the 1800s. It comes on its original leather tack and would look great hanging up on a wall in a kitchen or sitting room.

It features a crescent shape brass with a Sun in the middle. Below the brass it has a lovely brass plaque with Biggins Makers Newcastle on it. 

It is from Newcastle Upon Tyne originally and has been in my family for many years.

It has a leather strap which it can be hung from.

There is some tarnish on the brass and a tiny patch of deterioration towards the bottom of the crescent. The leather strap is a bit stiff and could do with a bit of conditioning. It has holes punched into it so its easy to hang up.

It measures 44.5cm in length (17 1/2 inches).
