Antique Silver Heart Shaped Pill Box Hallmarked 1900

Here we have a very beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Pill Case from the Edwardian early 1900s. It would be perfect for storing a couple of vitamins in or using as a small ring box.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for a birthday, anniversary or Christmas.

It’s made of shiny solid silver and is gilded inside. It has a hinge and clasp works well. It was made by Adie and Lovekin and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1900. The hallmarks are inside the pill box and on the side of the lid.

The silver is shiny with light scratches. It has a dent in the lid and in the base and some scratches to the gilding inside.

It weighs 7g and measures 2.8cm by 2.8cm (1 inch by 1 inch). The depth is 1.2cm (just under 1/2 inch).
